Graphita is a new web-based image editing tool that will launch in private beta next week, and public beta in mid May.
Whith Graphita, you can use existing photos or upload your own to be edited. Add different stamps in different sizes, speech and thought bubbles, text, and more. They don't have GIF animation, or templates for your photos to be added to, so in this sense, Graphita has somewhat less features than PikiPimp or Comeeko. One you've saved your image, there are several options for sharing it: print it on a mug, poster, t-shirt and more, or have the image sent to your MySpace, Flickr or Snapfish accounts, or even the Walmart photo center. I think these sharing options are great, though there seems to be a few more bugs to work out.
Graphita has a clean interface, and is drop-dead easy to use. Perhaps adding public URLs for others to visit a user's page and print their photos on Graphita's many objects available would be beneficial to users that like the CafePress model of earning extra revenue. There is no community within Graphita either, so there is no way to search for others' photos. Creating an embeddable option or a slideshow like Photobucket, or even a desktop application such as SlideRoll could be great additions for future roll outs.
